Join us for a creek cleanup in Farragut! We will be cleaning a section of Turkey Creek that runs along Turkey Creek Harbor Greenway. We will walk down the greenway, through a wooded path to the creek, and clean upstream until we reach the historic dam. All supplies will be provided including waders, safety vests, litter pickers, trash bags, waterproof gloves, and water bottles. Please park across the street from the residential address provided.
Join KKB and members of the Mechanicsville Community Association for another Mechanicsville Cleanup! Last year we collected over 600 lbs of litter! Volunteers will meet at Danny Mayfield Park to sign in and get supplies. Lunch will be provided after the cleanup for all volunteers.

The Douglas J Aveda Institute is hosting the Catwalk For Water Fashion Show on Sunday, May 6th at 7 PM (doors open at 6 PM for cocktail hour and silent auction) at Relix Variety Theatre, and the concept will be Recycled Couture.
Knoxville stylists and Douglas J Aveda Institute students will blend fashion and sustainability, as they showcase recycled and re-purposed materials through hair, makeup and wardrobe styling.
This event will feature guest artist Adam Deal, local vendors, a special performance, silent auction, appetizers and music!

Join hundreds of volunteers around Knoxville for Ijams Nature Center's 29th Annual River Rescue presented by TVA and Dow Chemical Company. Last year, almost 700 volunteers cleaned various sites along the Tennessee River and associated waterways and removed 11.5 tons of garbage! This year, Keep Knoxville Beautiful will be hosting 2 sites for Pellissippi State Community College and KUB.

Join us at New Hopewell Elementary as we make bottle cap flowers for the school to display outside. The students collected thousands of bottle caps for this project and learned about reusing items.
